This event represents the very best of what our JSKA community stands for — the pursuit of excellence in Shotokan karate, the spirit of collaboration between our member associations across Great Britain and Ireland, and the shared values of respect, discipline, and continuous development that define our art.

We are honoured to host this championship here in Glasgow, Scotland, and we have worked hard to ensure that every aspect of the weekend — from the competition floor to the technical seminar, and the Sayonara Party on Saturday evening — reflects the warmth and hospitality that Scotland is renowned for. Whether you are competing, officiating, training, or simply supporting your club, you will be made most welcome.

The weekend programme has been carefully designed to offer something of real value to every participant.

The Development Championships on Saturday will provide competitors of all ages and grades with the opportunity to test themselves in a supportive and well-organised environment. The Technical Seminar on Sunday morning will offer an outstanding opportunity for further learning and development under JSKA guidance. And the Sayonara Party on Saturday evening, held at the West of Scotland Rugby Club in Milngavie, will give us all the chance to come together, share stories, and celebrate the bonds that unite our community.
