Chief Instructor Sensei Mike McCusker 7th Dan JSKA

Founder and Chief Instructor of the Hokushin Karate Academy, Hokushin Chanbara and Hokushin Kickboxing is Sensei Mike McCusker. He has over 4 decades of experience in the martial arts and has taught many student to World champion level. As a result, he has built a large and exciting group of loyal students. Mike Sensei is also a member of the prestigious JSKA SHIHANKAI (JSKA Masters Council) and is also a JSKA Executive Director.

Assistant to the Chief Instructor Sensei Holly Rye 6th Dan JSKA

Sensei Holly has over 26 years experience in Shotokan Karate and has multiple World, European and national titles to her name. A current member of the JSKA Scotland Karate Team, Sensei Holly is a fantastic instructor and has also trained extensively in Japan.
